Merchant Discount Program

A wide variety of local businesses offer discounts to NVN members upon presentation of a current membership card. You can save on a gym membership, a variety of restaurants, flowers and landscaping, crafts and art supplies, theater tickers, meditation, acupuncture & physical therapy…the list goes on! Mutual Support Services

Free Computer and Smart Phone Help – Remote Service Available During Covid-19 Crisis

Computer experts are available to help with your PC/Mac computer and smartphone issues for up to two hours, after which the volunteer has the option of charging or referring you to another professional. Members: If you need remote assistance, please contact us – include the nature of the problem and device you are using (Mac, PC, etc.).

PLEASE NOTE: During the Covid-19 Crisis, for the safety of our members, the in-person services below are on hold until we can safely be in enclosed environments together.

Free Ride Service

Rides to medical appointments or other destinations within a 6-mile radius may be provided without charge with 48 hours notice if volunteers are available when needed.    

Short Term Support

Short-term support such as meals, errands, and pet care is available for members dealing with short-term challenges, such as recovery from surgery. 

Cat Care Co-op

Participating members care for each other’s cats in the cats’ homes when the member is away for a short time, such as vacation or hospitalization.
