Barbara Harris, long-time NVN member, will be talking about her new book, Sixteen Going on Seventeen: On Tour with the Trapp Family Singers.
At age 16, Barbara Stechow Harris replaced one of the Trapp Family Singers for their final two years of touring in America and abroad. Her memoirs are an intimate look at life with one of the most famous singing groups in the world. Her perspective is as a young adult traveling, performing in 12 languages, and adapting to life with the famous Maria Von Trapp. Her experiences bring new insights, actual reviews, and pictures of the Trapp Family Singers.
