It is the time of year to celebrate different holidays with family, friends, and neighbors. We all love special treats and good cheer!

You can share your baking skills and best recipes with others by participating in a cookie exchange, which will be held Friday, December 13, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in Lovett Library's 2nd floor Community Room (6945 Germantown Avenue, Mt. Airy).

This is what you would need to do:

• Bake some cookies (4-6 dozen depending on the number of bakers)

• Store your cookies in a container to display at the exchange

• Bring your cookies to the exchange

• Bring plastic gloves to cover your hands

• Bring a container to place the selected cookies in

• Bring your recipe to give to others

• Enjoy this sharing experience!

RSVPs are necessary. Please note that only bakers can participate in the exchange.
